Tom Valdez, a distinguished cellist, educator, and composer. Mr. Valdez holds a Master of Music in Multi-Style Strings from New Jersey City and a Bachelor of Music in Performance from Shenandoah Conservatory. His studio has a notable history of producing successful music teachers and performing artists.

Mr. Valdez is known for his vibrant teaching approach, which vividly brings music to life for his students. He exposes them to a diverse array of musical styles and genres, and he has also arranged contemporary pop music for the cello, showcasing his expansive musical versatility. His performance credits include engagements with the Mostly Modern Orchestra, National String Symphonia, New Jersey Festival Orchestra, Loudoun Symphony Orchestra, White Plains Performing Arts Center, Evil Woman: The American ELO, and Shenandoah Summer Music Theater.
