With a lifelong love for music that began at age six, Sharon brings both expertise and passion to her role at The Music Loft Academy. Holding a Bachelor’s degree from Regent University, she’s not only a seasoned piano instructor but also a member of prominent music associations, staying connected to the best in music education. Sharon’s experience includes founding and maintaining her own studio for 20+ years, directing music programs at private schools where she’s crafted curricula and led performances, and adjudicating various piano competitions at both the regional and state level(s).

Her students thrive under her guidance, with many excelling in competitions and college auditions. Known for her kindness and encouragement, Sharon is committed to building strong foundations in music theory, yet developing technique and a fine ear for musicality while helping students express themselves through every piece. Under her instruction, many have continued in their musical studies at prominent music schools such as Queens College, Berklee Conservatory, and Bob Jones University.

Her expertise and supportive approach make her an exceptional mentor for budding musicians. When away from the studio or classroom, Sharon enjoys piano arranging, spending time with her family (including her German Shepherds), and exploring Colonial Williamsburg.
