Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Kailbeth is a highly skilled and dedicated violinist with a rich background in performance and music education. A graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory with a Doctor of Musical Arts, she has won numerous awards, including first place in the Shenandoah Conservatory Soloist Competition. She has appeared as a soloist with prestigious orchestras such as the Orquesta Sinfónica Municipal de Caracas and Shenandoah Symphony Orchestra.
As an educator, Kailbeth has advanced “El Sistema,” Venezuela’s celebrated social music initiative, and has taught at the DC Youth Orchestra and the Community Music Academy of the Piedmont. Her teaching is known for its depth, versatility, and commitment to student growth. Currently performing and teaching across the East Coast and beyond, Kailbeth passion for music inspires students worldwide. She plays a 1947 Italian violin, sharing her artistry with audiences everywhere.
